In our April issue, we asked for your stories to help celebrate National Library Week (April 23 through 29). And you came through! Read on below for some of what you shared. We couldn’t thank you enough for those that were able to contribute.

Missed the call or just too busy this past month? There’s still time to let us know what makes your library special to you and your family!

Share Your Story

“It's been great as (my 9-year-old daughter) has fun putting books on hold on the library computer and finding the holds ready for her later in the week. The library has been a wonderful place to encourage her love of reading!”

“After college, I hadn’t set foot in a library again until last week. .. I was in the cookbook aisle of the Napa library for 3 hours and took home 20 books. It took me back to childhood and how much I enjoyed being there. I’ve already visited again 3 times within the week!”

“I have browsed and borrowed books, taken fun classes such as tamale making and sugar skulls decorating, borrowed audiobooks and movies and bought used books at heavily discounted prices! The library and librarians are a gem!”

“I think it an essential thing to have a library and it feeds the brain, and the soul! Thank you for your enduring support to our community.”

“Napa Library and Fuller Park are our favorite places to go together. Closest thing to heaven for this Grama!!”
