February events at your library!

Upcoming Closures

February is Library Lovers’ Month

Of course, we think it’s Library Lovers’ Month every month & we’re not alone. A recent report showed that 54% of Gen Z & Millennials visited a library in the last year (higher than any other age group!). Around a quarter visited even though they wouldn’t consider themselves readers. That’s great news for us since our library offers much more including games, puzzles, binoculars, cookie cutters, events, and more!

We’ve also seen use of our digital collections boom. This past year, you checked out around 200,000 e-resources: movies, music, books, audiobooks and more. In Napa, we check out well over 20,000 digital items per month. Wow!

So Library Lovers, rejoice. You have a whole month to celebrate what we offer to you, your family and our community. And if you happen to still be wearing that party hat on March 1 or beyond? Don’t worry. We’re still happy to celebrate with you.
