Stop by the library to get a sticker!
It's National Library Week! Each year we take a moment to celebrate what libraries offer their communities: events, services, classes, and collections that you use each and every day.

This year’s theme is Drawn to the Library. It ties in perfectly with a new design we’re happy to announce this month. Local artist, Kristina McDonald, created icons for each of our four libraries. We think they capture both the unique character of each building and community, reflecting our desire to be welcoming places for you to visit.

To celebrate Library Week, be sure to stop by the library this week to get a special sticker showing Kristina's rendering of your local library! We made one for each library, so why not visit each of our locations and collect them all?

With over 300,000 visits each year, we know many of you are drawn to our library regularly. We’re excited to highlight some of what’s coming up in the first half of April below.

Happy National Library Week!

National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month. This month "celebrates poets' integral role in our culture" (Academy of American Poets). It's a great opportunity to explore the poetry right here at your library. You can browse online or come on by the library for an in-person wander. Revisit the classics or discover new poets whose work speaks to you.
